WHO WE ARE
SEAN KELLY co-founder
Sean is the owner and founder of The Clay Corner. This non-profit was founded for the purpose of better facilitating the outreach and community focused programs previously being organized through his studio.
AMANDA SALOV co-founder
Amanda joined The Clay Corner as manager in 2023. Her passion for ceramics, community, and accessibility to the arts has lead to the growth of The Clay Corner's community programs.

OUR STORY
Sean and Amanda are both passionate about ceramics, but more importantly, we are passionate about the ceramics community. We have spent the last few years growing various programs. These programs include scholarships, fundraisers that support local charities and causes, career development for emerging artists, and artist residency opportunities.
Operating such an extensive list of charitable programs through the studio has limitations that only become larger with time. We decided to found this non-profit to allow us to operate existing programs more efficiently and increase our impact for the ceramic arts in Seattle and beyond.
The Center for Community Ceramics is a new and exciting project. Please be patient while we navigate operating our first non-profit!
